Hi, I’m Debbie — the founder of Beekee Solutions and a passionate advocate for people-first HR.
My journey began at just 17 years old when I entered the workforce as a medical assistant. While working full-time, I put myself through college and earned my Bachelor of Science — all while raising three children and navigating life as a young wife and mother. These early experiences shaped my resilience, work ethic, and commitment to supporting people both personally and professionally.
I spent 17 years with one organization, growing from frontline healthcare roles into leadership, where I supervised teams and learned firsthand how strong people practices impact performance. Two years later, I transitioned into Human Resources — and that’s where I found my purpose. I realized HR wasn’t just about filling roles or managing paperwork; it was about improving workplace experiences and guiding employees and leaders through meaningful moments in their careers.
To strengthen my expertise, I earned my SHRM-CP certification and actively serve on the SHRM Voice of Work (VOW) Panel, contributing insights that help shape national HR research and workplace trends. I continue to stay up-to-date on evolving HR laws, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
I launched Beekee Solutions to help small and mid-sized Florida businesses confidently manage HR — from compliance and documentation to hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and protected leave (ADA/FMLA).
I lead with passion, integrity, and a genuine love for helping others succeed. Creating better workplaces isn’t just my profession — it’s who I am.
